Indoor Christmas Activity for Kids

A Puppet Theatre is a great idea to keep a group of kids occupied during their Christmas vacation. The kids won't be bored and will learn a lot about Christmas.

Preparation: Help kids make puppets from cardboard or cardstock or dress up their old dolls as nativity or any other Christmas characters depending upon the storyline chosen.

Story: Decide upon a story to enact. It could be the nativity episode or any Christmas story from a book.

Rehearsals: Ask kids to rehearse the story with their puppets thoroughly.

Show Time: Plan their 'Puppet Theatre Show' around Christmas and invite family members and/or close friends to attend.
