Favorite Christmas Movies for Kids
Here's a list of our favorite Christmas movies for Kids. Buy
a DVD or a CD, call your friends over, ask Mom to make popped corn and
enjoy Christmas.
1. The Polar Express (2004)
Based on Chris Van Allsburg's book, the movie is about a
young boy's journey on a magical train to the north pole to meet Santa and
how the incident instills belief in him.
2. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer (1964)
The favorite story is about Santa Claus' ninth and lead
reindeer who possesses an unusually red colored nose that gives off its
own light that is powerful enough to illuminate the team's path through
inclement weather.
3. Home Alone (1990)
Eight-year-old Kevin is mistakenly left behind when his
family flies to France for a Christmas vacation. He is later threatened
with two house burglars, whom he outwits by rigging the house with booby
traps.
4. Frosty The Snowman (1969)
Frosty comes to life! See the adventures of Frosty as he
comes to life on Christmas.
5. Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983)
Uncle Scrooge plays the real scrooge worrying about money
all the time during Christmas. Based upon Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas
Carol'. It is available in the following DVDs:

6. Miracle on 34th Street (1947 and 1994)
Susan's mom tells her that there is no Santa Claus. But this
departmental store Santa makes it difficult for Susan and everyone else to
believe that to be the case. Is he the REAL SANTA?
7. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)
The Grinch hates Christmas tries to come up with a plan of
keeping Christmas from coming. He gets the notion of disguising himself as
Santa and stealing all the presents to stop the holiday from coming.
8. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Jack (o' lantern) of Halloween Town becomes bored of his
life decides to enter the world of Christmas Town and become Santa for the
year. He attempts to combine the two holidays, with disastrous results
terrifying all the kids.
9. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
A sequel to Home Alone, Kevin again loses his family who are
heading off to Florida for their Christmas vacation while he takes a plane
to New York mistakenly.
10. Elf (2003)
Buddy crawls into Santa's bag on Christmas Eve, and Saint
Nick unknowingly brings him along to the North Pole. Not knowing to whom
the child belonged, it was decided that he would be raised by the elves.
